Primary Campus
About Us
In 2020 it became apparent that education took on an entirely new perspective, it has become obvious that traditional education – with overcrowded classrooms has no place in the future. Our academy caters for learners from Grade 0 to Grade 7. It is important to note that we use a Home School Curriculum, which is of extremely high academic standard. We have an 8:1 student/teacher ratio in order to ensure that every child receives the maximum benefit from individual attention, as and when it is required.
We offer a caring, co-operative school environment that promotes cultural values and supports positive relationships and respectful interactions. We look forward to working closely with families which will provide and integrated, comprehensive approach to learning. We offer the perfect solution for any parent looking for a safe and ideal education centre.
Our Values
Pam’s Academy acknowledges the importance of staff, parents and learners all working together as a team. Due to the quaintness of our school, it is essential that the team share the same vision for the care and education provided. The staff shares these values, ensuring the best start for all learners who attend our school. Our values are for our learners and staff to respect themselves and each other, for all learners, staff and parents to feel included, to provide a healthy start to life and to provide a safe and secure environment to grow, learn and develop.
Education
We are a Subject Based Assessment Venue who use Mindscape Education as our curriculum provider. Mindscape Education offers an A-Z solution to the home school community.
Foundation Phase:

The Foundation Phase provides a sound foundation for learners from Grade R to 3. Classes have a maximum of 8 learners, allowing for a more personalised learning environment.
Grade R
This is the bridge from the tangible world to the world of symbols and numbers in Grade 1. Therefore, we focus on an integrated play-based programme that aims to develop the learners’ phonological, literacy, mathematical, and creative problem-solving skills in a fun way.

Intermediate Phase:
Grade 4 To Grade 7
In these grades the emphasis is still on establishing basic foundations, but learners are led into more abstract thought and independent work. We prepare them for high school by teaching them how to apply the skills and concepts they have learned. We also promote creativity and critical thinking by encouraging children to make their own choices within well-established boundaries. From Grade 4-7, development of Language and Mathematical skills continues while learners are introduced to a wider range of subjects. Our classes have a maximum of 10 learners allowing for a more personalised learning environment.
